Casing scraper is one of auxiliary tools in well completion, testing and downhole working. It is mainly used for cleaning cement, sand, residual bullets, rag, and otherobjects on casing inner surface, in order to keep casing inner surface cleaning and the drilling tools working normally. JX casing scraper can't be used in drilling operation.
The main function of casing scrapers is to remove the inner wall of the casing pipe cement, sand, residual bullets, Nick, paraffir wax, burr and other attached objects and to keep the casing wall cleaning for the operation of drilling tools. Packer and the similar tools must have a clean joint surface, but the attachments in the big tube surfacewouldfrequently interfere with the normal work of these tools.
Manufactured from alloy steel and heat treated to provide strengh and durability, each scraper must pass rigid non-destructive testing to ensure the highest quality product.
Usage Methods of TR Downhole Casing Scraper:
1. Before the casing scraper run into the down hole, the hasten moment of the sub must be the same as the running pipe’s.
2. Before run into the well, check whether the type of the casing scraper is in accordance with the casing’s specification; whether the blade is worn or not; whether the screw is fasten.
3. Protect personal safety when using, prevent injured, damaged, scarred and other accident harm.
