API 16A Shaffer and Cameron Double Ram BOP for Oilfield
Product Overview
Hydraulic ram preventer is an important component assembly of well control device. It is characterized by flexible switch, easy operation, safety in use and simple maintenance, etc.
For double-faced ram, both faces of the ram are symmetrical. For different sizes of drilling tools, only rubber seal semi-ring and ram briquetting need to be replaced, and other parts can be used interchangeably; single-faced ram is not reversible; shear ram can cut off wellhead drilling tools and fully seal wellhead; variable ram is used within certain limits to seal different sizes of drilling tools and annular tubes.
Hydraulic ram BOP is the important component of well drillig control equipment. It has the features: rapid open, labor-saving operation, easy maintenance, use for safe and so on. Ram BOP is mainly composed of housing, side gate, hydro-cylinder, cylinder cap, piston, piston rod, lock shaft, sealing parts, ram, etc. Oil well's sealing or opening is achieved by moving ram, which is driven by piston rod and piston with hydraulic force.
Main Characterstics of TR Drilling BOP:
1. Used in conjunction whit hydraulic control system,the annular BOP seals off the annulus of different sizes when pipes are in use in the hole.
2. Upper housing and the body have two connection forms as connection by bolts and connection by claw chuck.
3. Annular BOP with tapered rubber is composed of seven parts as upper housing,wear plate,body,piston,tapered rubber,anti-dust ring and supporting cylinder.
4. The dynamic seal of annular BOP adopts the sealing ring of lip structure,which reduces the wearing of sealing ring to the maximum,and the sealing is reliable;the rubber is not easy to fold back,and there is the effect of funnel;and the well pressure has the function of assisting sealing,etc.
5. Seal element molded with two different styles of inserts to reduce closing volume and increase closing cycles.
6. Replacement wear place that eliminates metal contact between the seal element inserts and the BOP head.
7. A piston design that provides complete balance more reliable operation and ease of assembly.
8. A latched head for fast, easy access to the seal element and wear seals.
9. An opening chamber head hat prevents debris from falling into the chambers when replacing the seal element.
10. Inner sleeve is bolted to the body that eliminates the difficulties in repair, and it is field replaceable.
